This ceremony offers you a safe space to gather in community on the New Moon, and combines guided meditation, reflection, and free-flow movement to release and liberate your truth in mind, body, and spirit.
We will begin with somatic exercises to ground and find safety in the space, and offer time for intention setting and brief orientation.
Next you will be guided through a gentle meditation to meet your Inner Maiden. Your Inner Maiden is forever youthful, energetic, vibrant, risky, and knows your deepest desires. But she is also often wounded, which can lead to unhealthy traits such as people-pleasing, overwhelm, dependency, competitiveness, or fear. During the meditation, we'll listen to her, hold her, respond to her, Mother her, and learn what she is ready to release.
You will be offered quiet time for reflection, and to write the Wounded Maiden traits you are ready to let go of, and what she is ready to call in.
We'll continue our journey by incorporating the pillars of embodiment- awareness, movement, breath, touch, and sound- to fully experience and express what we seek to release, and feel what we wish to become, through free-flow movement.
You will be guided by your internal felt senses, your inner sensations, to move your body, use your voice, and fully liberate what you've been holding. This practice is generally done on the hands and knees, so bring a blanket if you like, and will be accompanied by music I lovingly and thoughtfully curate. I invite participants to use eye masks to deepen the internal focus and awareness, but this is not at all required.
We will end with a deep, restorative rest, and offer time for shares and reflections in community.
Your sadness, your rage, your grief, your joy, your pleasure... every part of you will be welcome in the space.
