MEET YOUR HOSTS:
Amy Schenck Amy is Registered Nurse with a board certification in Holistic Health. She is also a Usui Reiki Master Teacher and a Shamanic Reiki Master Practitioner. She has completed a mentorship working with ceremonial cacao and a 10 week in depth cacao training with The Mayan Wisdom Project. Amy has worked closely with Reiki and ceremonial cacao in her own journey of remembering her divine essence and has felt called to share this medicine with others. Her goal in each event is to create a safe and sacred container allowing you to relax into a shift in perception away from false beliefs about our inherent worth and towards a deeper knowing about our individual and collective alignment with pure Love. She believes in the power of healing in community. Amy is the owner of Ocean State Reiki. She hosts classes and events all around Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Jax is a co-founder of Thrive Tribe Cafe. She is an Usui Reiki Master Teacher and Shamanic Reiki Master Practitioner. She is certified in multiple energetic healing modalities including: Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki, Holy Fire Reiki, Seraphim Blueprint Healing and Shamanic Reiki. She earned a BS in Nursing at Rhode Island College and believes that an understanding of both Western and Eastern Medicine provides a strong foundation for her approach to energy work. She also earned a BA in Elementary Education at Rhode Island College which has assisted her in working with children and understanding the many ways in which we learn. She is grateful to be of service and looks forward to deepening her connection with the land and those who are on their own healing journeys.
